A structured program for buyers moving to Grants Pass and the Rogue Valley from out of state.
Find your place in the valley
Choose what you want from a life in Southern Oregon, and the map lights up the towns that fit.
Buying from out of state means studying a market you cannot drive on a Saturday, coordinating a closing you may not attend in person, and judging a town’s tradeoffs from listing photographs. The Relocation Program brings that work into one orderly sequence, from the first conversation through the first months in your new home, organized the way corporate relocation services manage a move. I know what it is to arrive here without a single local contact; I did it myself in 2024, and I make sure no family I work with arrives that way.
What the program provides
- Intake: a conversation before anything is sent, so every guide you receive fits your situation.
- Relocation guide and roadmap: the region, its towns, and the process of buying from a distance.
- Town and neighborhood guides: chosen around what you are looking for.
- Live video walkthroughs: on request, for any local listing.
- Short-term rental coordination: a place to stay while you search, before closing, or while the house is readied.
- Local vendor directory: inspectors, lenders, movers and the other first calls you will need to make.
- Project timeline: updated and resent whenever anything changes, so you always know what comes next.
- Settling-in guide: the DMV, utilities, voter registration and the rest of the first month after closing.
- Support for a working partner: introductions through my local network for a partner who needs work here, and internet service confirmed at a specific address before you make an offer, for anyone relocating to work remotely.
- Direct access: one person, reachable directly, with a reply within 24 hours, evenings and weekends included.
How it works
Intake: a short form or a five-minute call covers timeline, budget, household and setting before anything is sent.
First contact: the relocation guide and roadmap arrive first, with a standing offer of a live video walkthrough of any listing. If you are searching from a distance or planning a visit, short-term lodging is arranged at this stage.
Research: town guides, the vendor directory and any guide your intake answers point to arrive as you narrow in on a place.
Transaction: you work directly with me from offer through closing, with a dated timeline updated at every step and lodging coordinated for any gap before closing day.
Settling in: the settling-in guide covers your first ninety days, with lodging available if the house is not yet ready.
